Pauline Wilkerson

Pauline Wilkerson, age 88 of Cave City died Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at a Cave City nursing home. She was born September 15, 1921 at Emery, Arkansas to Charlie and Ella Brashers Johnson. She worked at the McGehee Bank for 15 plus years, enjoyed mission work at the First Baptist Church in McGehee and was a member of the Eastside Baptist Church in Cave City.She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Bill Johnson, Charles Johnson adn Darrell Johnson.Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Campbelll 'Wilkie' Wilkerson, a son Campbell Wilkerson, Jr. and wife Judy of Crossett, a daughter, Cathey Johnson and husband, Carl of Cave City, three brothers, Jack Johnson of Garland, Texas, Marcus Dale Johnson of Houston, Texas and Harrell Johnson of Denver, Colorado, three sisters Olene Wooldridge Reynolds of Cave City adn Joyce Davidson of Batesville and Pat Milligan of Little Rock, four grandhcildren, Jon Johnson and Claudette Jones of Newark, Jason Wilkerson of Warren adn Jenny Shockley of Houston, seven great grandchildren, Robbie Parks, Ryan Parks of Newark, Anna Wilkerson of Warren, Meghan Davis, Tanner Johnson and Maddison Johnson of Newark, Lane Taylor of Cave City and a host of nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.Funeral service will begin Monday, February 1, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Lynn Westmoreland officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount View Cemetery located east of Cave City with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.Visitation will be Monday, February 1, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until service time.Pallbearers will be John Ables, Jon Johnson, Claudette Jones, David Jones, Bret Johnson and Lane Parks.Honorary pallbears are the employees of Cave City Nursing Home.
