Jim M. Richardson age 83 of Batesville died Saturday February 20, 2010 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. He was born March 7, 1926 at Cushman, Arkansas to Ezra and Nellie Glenn Richardson. He was retired from Union Pacific Railroad and of the Baptist faith.He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Imogene Richardson; one son, Johnny Harold Richardson; one brother, Arlis Richardson and one sister, Opal Butler.Survivors include one son, Jimmy Boyett of Batesville; one daughter, Judy Frolos Richardson of Batesville; three brothers, Lonnie Richardson of Batesville, Orvile Richardson of Michigan and Carl 'Cricket' Richardson of Sulphur Rock; seven grandchildren, Alisha Branscum of Cushman, Arlis Lee III of Cave City, Patricia Lee, Patrick Lee, Jeremy Boyett, Nathan Richardson and Madison Richardson of Batesville; numerous great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Tuesday February 23, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Bro. Carl Blankenship officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery located near Cushman with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.Visitation will begin Monday February 22, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.Pallbearers will be Arlis Lee II, Patrick Lee, Donnie Smith, Billy Richardson, Ronald Hall, Ray Matthews and Lorin Richardson.Honorary pallbearers are Junior Branscum, Trinity Asay, Preston Jones, Dr. Bob Slaughter, Claude McClurg and Arlis Lee III.
