Lloyd Anderson Perry, age 89 of Cave City died Thursday, February 25, 2010 at a Cave City nursing home. He was born May 4, 1920 at Lafferty, Arkansas to E. A. and Della M. (Watkins) Perry. He was a farmer and a member of the Lebanon Missionary Baptist Church at Nelsonville.He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons David Perry and Grady Perry and two daughters Kathy Perry and Carol Cook.Survivors include his wife of 60 years Betty Ruth (Birrer) Perry of the home, four sons, Calvin Perry of Pleasant Plains, Carthal Perry of Cave City, Nathan Perry of Holly Springs and Lyndon Perry of Evening Shade, one daughter, Colleen Perry Jones of Holly Springs, three brothers, Lois Perry of Lorado, Paul Perry of Greenville, Texas and Carlton Norris of Jonesboro, two sisters, Marie Cooper of Kingfisher, Oklahoma and Lillian Shepard of Burna, Texas 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Saturday, February 27, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Phillip Lewallen officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery located east of Cave City with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.No visitation is planned.
