Claud Duncan, age 91 of Spring Mill, Cushman area died Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. He was born May 11, 1918 at Spring Mill, Arkansas to Sam and Lucy Neely Duncan. He was a carpenter and a member of the Pilgrim's Rest Baptist Church in Bethesda where he served as deacon.He was preceded in death by his wife Una Lee Duncan, one son Claud Steven Duncan, one grandson, Benjamin James Duncan, two brothers Clarence Duncan and Delbert Duncan, one sister, Nina Willis and three infant siblings.Survivors include one son Billy Duncan of McCrory, two daughters, Sue Fulbright of Locust Grove and Martha Bates of Cushman, two sisters, Zula Bell of Spring Mill and Veda Bell Davis of Marshall, Missouri, eleven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Pilgrim's Rest Baptist Church in Bethesda. Burial will follow in the Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.Visitation will begin Friday, March 5, 2010 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.Pallbearers will be Koby Ray, Eli Ray, Jerry Bates, Jerry Duncan, Nathan Duncan, Nick Trusty, John Elms and Ronney Herrington..Honorary pallbearers are Thomas Buser, Matthew Buser, Carter Herrington and Dylan Duncan.
