Murlie Sutter age 94 of Pleasant Plains died Sunday March 7, 2010 at the Rolling Hills Nursing Center in Batesville. She was born February 5, 1916 at Little Red, Arkansas to Thomas Wyatt and Francis Middleton Roberson. She was a homemaker and a member of the Lifeline Southern Baptist Church at Pleasant Plains.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lewie R. Sutter Sr., two brothers, Ruffus Roberson and Jeffie Roberson and one sister, Leanor Gilbert.Survivors include two sons, Lewie R. Sutter Jr. of Pleasant Plains and Johnnie 'Dickie' Sutter of Judsonia, one daughter, Linda Pearson of Pleasant Plains and one sister, Faye Hays of Pleasant Plains, nine grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, eighteen great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Tuesday March 9, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel located in Batesville with Bro. Tim Altom officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Plains Cemetery located in Pleasant Plains with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.Visitation will begin Monday March 8, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.Pallbearers will be Michael Harris, Kirk Crawford, Tommy Crawford, Bruce Harris, John McAnnally and Johnny Sutter Jr.Honorary pallbearer is Gene Roberson.
