Danny Thomas Fleetwood, 56 of Cave City went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Batesville, Arkansas.He was born October 20, 1953 at Batesville, Arkansas, the son of Ray and Della Mae Fleetwood.Danny retired from the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department in 2008 after 31 years of service. He was an active member of First Missionary Baptist Church in Cave City, where he had taught Sunday school and served on several commmittees. He was a past member of the Cave City Booster Club where he coached his sons' basketball and baseball teams. He enjoyed hunting and spending time on the farm. Danny loved going camping and boating in the summer with friends and family.He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Shan Bradley Fleetwood, a daughter, Tricia Leann Fleetwood of Cave City, two sons, Zachary Thomas Fleetwood and Brayden Joel Fleetwood of the home and one grandson, Tyler Blaine Foust of Cave City. His mother of Cave City, one brother Karrel Ray Fleetwood and wife Brenda of Batesville, two sisters, Cathy Landers and husband Ray of Cave City and Mary Dickson and husband Darrell of Paragould. His father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ray and Jo Bradley of Sidney, brother-in-law, Tim Bradley and wife, Linda of Sidney. Several nieces and nephews. And a host of other relatives and friends.He is preceded in death by his father, Ray Fleetwood.Visitation will be Monday, March 15,2010 from 6-8 p.m. at the First Missionary Baptist Church in Cave City, with services to follow on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the church with Bro. Ron Canard and Bro. Bobby Sanders officiating. Burial will be at the Fairview Cemetery east of Cave City under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home.Pallbearers will be Kurt Meskimen, Danny Watson, Winfred Reed, Danny Howell, Mike Davis and Bruce Street. Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department.
