Kenneth A. Rose Sr.

Kenneth A. Rose Sr., age 66 of Strawberry, Arkansas died Monday, March 22, 2010 at a Little Rock hospital. He was born October 18, 1943 at Rison, Arkansas to Henry and Lessie (McGriff) Rose. He was a U. S. Air Force veteran having served in Vietnam, a retired police officer and a farmer. His greatest pride was his grandchildren. He attended the Church of Christ in Charlotte.He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother David Rose and one sister Ruby Crabb.Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Ramona Rose of the home, three sons Kevin Rose of Judsonia, Kenneth Rose Jr. of Rosie and Keith Rose of Bunceton, Missouri, two daughters Becky Shirley of Rosie and Kimberly Rose of Bunceton, Missouri, one brother Ralph Rose of Strawberry, nine grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Thursday, March 25, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of Christ in Charlotte. Burial will follow in the Maple Springs Cemetery located at Rosie with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.Visitation will begin Wednesday, March 24, 2010 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.
