Ruth Jane Albertson

Ruth Jane Albertson, age 64 of Pouthkeepsie died Monday, March 29, 2010 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was born November 18, 1945 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to James Buren and Cleo Wheat. She was a homemaker, retired from K-Mart in Hobbs, New Mexico and was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Sasakawa, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Raymond Wheat; and two sisters, Lillie Ann Whisenhunt and Cordia Howry.Survivors include her husband, Donnie Gene Albertson of the home; one son, Kevin Albertson of Poughkeepsie; one daughter, Michelle Denise Bruner of Surprise, Arizona; one sister, June Badgett of Dell City, Oklahoma; one grandson, Monroe Albertson of Poughkeepsie; two granddaughters, Sarah Bruner and Chloe Bruner of Suprise Arizona; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Thursday, April 1, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Phillip Lewallen officiating. Burial will follow in the Lebanon Cemetery located at Nelsonville with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.Visitation will begin Wednesday, March 31, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.Pallbearers will be Sam Nelson, Fred Head, Stanley Jones, Kenneth Seat, Brian Snyder and Jim Piper.Honoary pallbearers are Orville Stigall, Bill Lemons, Junior Jones and Dr. George Jackson and Staff.
