Nora Helen Moore Windland, age 92 died Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at her home in Newark. She was born February 24, 1918 to Walter R. and Bertha House Moore. Helen was a member of West Side Baptist Church in Greers Ferry.Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Charles B. Windland, an infant daughter, Mona and two sons, Charles Wayne and Neil Windland. She was also preceded in death by an infant granddaughter Windland, grandson Randal Windland, one step grandson Samuel Wells and two sisters Bernice Moore and Letha Cherry.Helen is survived by two daughters, Carolin Wells of Florissant, Missouri, Polly Williams and husband Vaughn of Newark, two daughters-in-law, Maxine Blevins of Batesville and Linda Windland of Mexia, Texas, nine grandchildren, Sandra, Terri, Carey, Dianne, Doug, Sharon, Chris, Gary and Charles, eighteen great grandchildren, thirteen great, great grandchildren, three step grandchildren, eleven step great grandchildren and four step great, great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Bonita Dacus of Horn Lake, Mississippi, Della Davis and husband Junior of Pangburn, one brother, Ishmale Moore and wife Evelyn of Midland, Texas, one sister-in-law, Dorothy Bryant of Steprock, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 2, 2010 at the West Side Baptist Church in Greers Ferry with interment immediately following at Roosevelt Cemetery located in the Roosevelt Community near Pleasant Plains. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.Visitation will be Thursday, April 1, 2010 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.
