Vera Mae Wilson Hoggard, age 78 of Cave City, passed from this life April 1, 2010 at Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City. Vera was born April 9, 1931 to Albert and Josie Clem Wilson of Calamine. Survivors include her husband L. D. Hoggard of Cave City, two sons, Larry Farmer and wife Rosa of Batesville, Gary Farmer and wife Ann of Cave City. Four sisters, Juanita Hoggard of Cave City, Janice McCollum of Melbourne, Donna LeMaster of Cave City and Lanell Hoggard of Wichita, Kansas, one sister-in-law Shielda Wilson of Cave City, three brothers, Denver Wilson, Bob Wilson and Wandon Wilson all of Calamine, one step-daughter, Pam Cooper and husband Donal of Sarasota, Florida, two step-sons, Danny Hoggard and wife Cathy of Bradenton, Florida and Tim Hoggard of Bradenton, Florida, one grandson, Gary Farmer, Jr. of Washington, DC, four granddaughters, Lena Yarberry of Sheridan, Leanna Cook of Cabot, Michelle Durham of Saffell and Kim Farmer of Arlington, Virginia, two step grandsons, Kevin Hoggard and Kenneth Hoggard of Bradenton, Florida, nine great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Vera was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, James L. Wilson and Shelby Wilson and one step daughter, Linda Hoggard.Funeral services will be held Monday, April 5, 2010 at the 10:00 a.m. at the Cave City Church of Christ with Dean Fugett officiating. Burial will follow in the Cave City Cemetery with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Sunday, April 4, 2010 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home in Cave City.Pallbearers will be Tyler Durham, Gary Farmer, Jr., Scott Durham, James Hoggard, Paul Hoggard and Jim Hoggard.
