Leota Morgan, age 81 of Southside died Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at a Batesville nursing home. She was born September 1, 1928 at Jamestown, Arkansas to George Henry and Sarah McClung Clark. She was a homemaker and a long time member of the Southside Church of Christ.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jack Morgan, one grandson, Scott Morgan and one great grandson, Landon Sisk, four brothers, T. J. Clark, Tom Clark, Clinton Clark and Verness Clark and one sister, Mildred Wackerly.Survivors include one son Steve Morgan of Tupelo, Mississippi, two daughters, Carol Wilson of Sidney and Lisa Antczak of Searcy, seven grandchildren, Jackie Moser, Stephanie Sisk and Amie McBride all of Batesville, Brian Wilson, Sarah Antczak and Chelsea Antczak all of Searcy and Casey Wilson of Pleasant Plains, eleven great grandchildren, two sisters, Ivoy Morgan of Joliet, Illinois and Marie Barber of Floral, a host of nieces and nephews and many of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Friday, May 7, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with Ralph Wallis and Dean Fugett officiating. Burial will follow in the Egner Cemetery located at Salado with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.Visitation will begin Thursday, May 6, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.Pallbearers will be Ricky Morgan, Kenny Sanford, Royce Wilson, Dennis Lewis, Larry AppleWomen of Honor are Paula Milligan, Mary Painter, Jean Ross, Charlene Strother, Patsy Thomas, Mary Beth Bowen, La Jean Brown, Kay O'Brien, Karen Reynolds, Thelma Parker, Marie Goodin, Robin Ball, Wendy Medley, Connie Caudle, Lawanda Donahue and the Staff of Eagle Mountain Assisted Living.
