Roger LeRoy Zahn

Roger LeRoy Zahn age 75 of Batesville died Saturday June 5, 2010 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. He was born March 22, 1935 at Flasher, North Dakota to Phillip James and Beatrice Schmidt Zahn. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, retired from Conagra Foods in Batesville and attended the Cave Creek Church of God.He was preceded in death by his father, his mother and stepfather, Neal and Beatrice Corrin; one daughter, Sandra D. DeLoach and two brothers, Dale Zahn and Terry Zahn.Survivors include his wife, Pansy Zahn of Batesville; one son, Roger Dale Zahn of Batesville; one daughter, Brenda Lee Snyder of Jonesboro; one sister, Jannelle Sword of Moses Lake, Washington; six grandchildren, Daniel Lee Mullins, Salina Moody, Cassy Moody and Travis DeLoach all of Newark, Sandi Zahn and Melissa Auten both of Batesville, eleven great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Tuesday June 8, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Eric Downs officiating. Burial will follow in the Weaver's Chapel Cemetery located north of Batesville with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.Visitation will be Monday June 7, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.Pallbearers will be Daniel Mullins, Vaughndel Kious, Dustin Thornton, Steve Anderson, Charles Rohrscheib and Adam Kerschner.Honorary pallbearer is Shane Thornton.
