Dorothy York

Dorothy D. York age 82 of Cave City died Sunday June 13, 2010 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was born June 16, 1927 at Washington, Indiana to Thomas A. and Lillian Smith Jones.She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister.Survivors include her husband Alvin C. York of the home; two sons, David Wright of Brighton, Michigan and Steven Wright of Grand Bay, Alabama; one daughter, Janet McIntyre of Phoenix, Arizona; one brother, Thomas Jones of Rockingham, North Carolina; one sister, Bertha Lee Jones of Rochester, Michigan; five grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.A private memorial service will be held at a later date with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.No visitation is planned.
