Warren H. Duncan

Warren H. Duncan, age 87 of Poughkeepsie died Saturday, June 19, 2010 at the Ash Flat Nursing and Rehab Center. He was born October 23, 1922 at Poughkeepsie, Arkansas to Cleo and Ora Medlock Duncan. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corp during World War II and worked for El Paso Natural Gas Company in Jal, New Mexico for 30 years. He was a member of the Poughkeepsie Church of Christ.He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 53 years Bertha Duncan, one infant son, David Craig Duncan and four brothers George Duncan, Johnny Duncan, Roy Duncan and Henry Snyder and three sisters, Ruby Duncan, Ruth Duncan and Rotha Duncan.Survivors include one son Gary Duncan of Poughkeepsie, one sister Sylvia Isabell of Calamine, four grandchildren, Brian Craig Duncan of McKinney, Texas, Brent Allen Duncan of Batesville, Bradley Scott Duncan of Springfield, Missouri and Heather Elizabeth Duncan of Lebanon, Missouri, two great grandchildren, Krislynn Elaine Duncan and Kaelan Patrick Duncan both of Batesville, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Troy Henley officiating. Burial will follow in the Powells Chapel Cemetery located near Poughkeepsie with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.Visitation will begin Tuesday, June 22, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.Pallbearers will be Brian Duncan, Brent Duncan, Brad Duncan, Danny Duncan, Tommy Duncan and James Duncan.
