Winona Arnold Jefford

Winona Arnold Jefford, age 86 of Floral died Monday, July 12, 2010 at a Batesville nursing home. She was born February 27, 1924 at Bradford, Arkansas to Ross and Susie Bickers Arnold. She was a homemaker and a lifelong member of the Floral Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, R. L. Jefford and a brother, Charles Arnold.Survivors include two sons, Ron Jefford of Searcy and Roger Jefford of Floral, six grandchildren, Ron Jefford Jr. and Sean Jefford both of Searcy, Hunter Biram, Mackenzie Jefford, Gabrielle Jefford and Madelyn Jefford all of Floral; three great grandchildren, Carson Jefford, Grayson Jefford and Addison Jefford all of Searcy; two nephews, Bill Arnold and Charles Arnold Jr. of Fort Worth, Texas and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Floral Baptist Church located at Floral with Bro. Lyle Koone and Bro. Shane Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery located near Floral with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.Visitation will be Tuesday, July 13, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.Pallbearers will be Lenny Frazier, Jarrod Frazier, David Johnston, Ron Jefford Jr., Sean Jefford and Hunter Biram.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Floral Baptist Church Building Fund.
