Peggy Sue Simpson

Peggy Sue Bilbrey Simpson, age 63 of Poughkeepsie died Friday, August 6, 2010 at her home. She was born May 30, 1947 at Poughkeepsie, Arkansas to Noble and Maurine Runsick Bilbrey. She worked as an LPN at the Ash Flat Nursing and Rehab, enjoyed her family, cooking, gardening, reading, traveling and going to the beach. She was a member of the Ash Flat Church of Christ.She was preceded in death by her parents.Survivors include her husband of 45 years Jim Simpson of the home, three sons, Patrick Simpson and wife Robin of Cave City, Benjamin Simpson of Little Rock and Erik Simpson of Poughkeepsie, one brother Billy Bilbrey of Poughkeepsie, two sisters, Lula Bounds of Festus, Missouri and Tena Cotton of Cave City, eight grandchildren, Shelby Simpson of Cave City, Camile Jackson of Jonesboro, Brandon Ward and Cameron Ward of Cord, Jarrett Simpson and Sam Simpson of Jonesboro, Spenser Simpson and Quinn Simpson of Little Rock, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Monday, August 9, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Ash Flat Church of Christ with Fred Gallo officiating. Burial will follow in the Spotts Cemetery located at Poughkeepsie with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.Visitation will begin Sunday, August 8, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
