Daphene James Milligan, age 75 of Cave City died Sunday, August 29, 2010 at her home. She was born September 24, 1934 at Mobley, Arkansas to Daniel Webster and Girtha Brogdon James. She retired after 34 years from the International Shoe Company in Batesville. She was an accomplished pianist having played since she was 6 years old. She taught music at the Brockwell School of Music and was a pastor's wife for 43 years. She was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church in Cave City.She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Pauline James.Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Grayden Milligan of the home; one daughter, Cyndi Hendrix and husband Wayne of Cave City; one grandson Danny Heflin, one step granddaughter, Kristie Hendrix and one great granddaughter, Jayden Hendrix all of Cave City and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Missionary Baptist Church in Cave City with Bro. Ron Canard officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount View Cemetery located east of Cave City with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.Visitation will begin Tuesday, August 31, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.Pallbearers will be Terry Wooldridge, Johnny Barr, Chris Gillihan, Brandon Qualls, William Smith, Raymond Staggs and Mike Ball.Honorary pallbearers are Eddie Ray Foster, Ricky Milligan, Donald Milligan, Joe Allen White, Keith Mize, Kenny Mize, Mike Milligan, William Crock, Keith Watkins, Herb Brogdon, Doyne Brogdon, Don Miller, Tom Foley, Gary Foley, Dr. Andy Davidson and Jerry Owens.
