Bill D. Bullard, age 77 of St. James died Friday, September 24, 2010 at his home. He was born March 18, 1933 at Bethesda, Arkansas to Virgil and Tressie Wink Bullard. He served as a medic in the U. S. Army, retired from the U. S. Postal service, was a carpenter and labored on church building projects. He enjoyed spending time with his family, reading, singing and playing the steel guitar. He assisted in pastoring the Dugan Pentecostal Church in Stone county where he was a member.He was preceded in death by his parents.Survivors include his wife of fifty-seven years, Barbara Hatfield Bullard, two daughters, Becky Caudel of Salem and Jan Spinks of St. James, one sister, Roba Lee Spooner of Batesville, eight grandchildren, Jeremy Caudel of California, Missouri, Anthony Caudel of Wirth, Caleb Spinks of Batesville, Hollie Spinks of St. James, Benjamin Spinks of Loxley, Alabama, Emily Spinks, Abby Spinks and Lenny Spinks all of St. James, ten great grandchildren and also an extended family, including; Tina Forge and children, Levi, Zachary and Natalie Forge all of the Kansas City area, Misty Barnett of the Kansas City area, Trisha Tharp and daughter Zoey of Batesville and Ida Corter of Mountain View and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will begin Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Full Gospel Fellowship Church, 2805 Neeley St, Batesville, AR with Bro. David Adams and Bro. Huey Knapp officiating. Burial will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery located at Batesville with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.Visitation will be Tuesday, September 28, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.Pallbearers will be Jeremy Caudel, Anthony Caudel, Caleb Spinks, Benjamin Spinks, Emily Spinks, Lenny Spinks and Jim Bob Turner.
