Nedra N. Borland

Nedra Borland, age 87 of Evening Shade, died Monday, October 4, 2010 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was born November 4, 1922 at Springdale, Pennsylvania to John W. and Hazel N. Pratt Anderson. She was a homemaker and of the Presbyterian faith.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold Ralph Borland; one brother, John T. Anderson; and two sisters, Rhonda Myers and Zelma Thacker.Survivors include one son, Harold Thomas Borland of Deland, Florida; one daughter, Leona H. Johnston of Evening Shade; two grandchildren, two great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Private memorial services will be held at a later date with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.No visitation is planned.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Lung Association, 1301 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Suite 800, Washington D.C. 20004
