Dorothy June Rowlett Heathcoat

Dorothy June Rowlett Heathcoat, age 77 of Bethesda died Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at a Batesville hospital. She was born June 20, 1933 at Bethesda, Arkansas to Charlie and Cecil Mae (Carey) Lee. She was a nurse, enjoyed her family and collecting angel figurines. She was a member of the American Legion Post 114 in Batesville and a member of the DAV in Pfeiffer. She was a member of the Bethesda Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, Jessie Rowlett and William 'Dub' Heathcoat, one son Jessy 'Wayne' Rowlett and one stepson David Joe Heathcoat and one grandson, Doug Rowlett.Survivors include one son Randy Rowlett and wife Karen of Quitman, one daughter, Sandra Rowlett Gwaltney of Charlotte, one brother, Sherman Lee of Henderson, Louisiana, two sisters, Faye Hampton and Diane Hodges of Batesville, nine grandchildren, Rusty Nail of Greers Ferry, Chris Rowlett of Batesville, Brandi Hardin of Paragould, Amanda Stark of Prim, Angela Smith of Swifton, Sarah New of Quitman, Zachery Rowlett of Cushman, Kyle Rowlett of Charlotte and Wesley Gwaltney of Charlotte, a lifelong friend, Carrie Sue 'Odene' Clem of Batesville, nine great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will be Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with Austin Dowell and Ralph Wallis officiating. Burial will follow in the Barnes Cemetery located at Bethesda with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 20, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.Pallbearers will be Jimmy Thorne, Larry Jones, Chris Rowlett, Daniel Smith, Richard Stark and Rusty Nail.Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Robert Walton, Dr. Bob Slaughter and the Staff of the White River Medical Center.In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the White River Medical Center Foundation, c/o Nursing Scholarship, P.O.
