Laura Yutzy Miller, age 72 years 20 days, died Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at her home in Saffell, Arkansas. She was born October 14, 1938 at Plain City, Ohio, to Homer and Ada Frey Yutzy. Laura's vibrant personality and encouraging testimony was an inspiration to many.She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Leah Yutzy Byler and Verna Yutzy Miller; brother Ivan H. Yutzy; brothers-in-law Andrew Byler and Elmer Byler; step-son, Jonathan Miller and step-granddaughter, Brenda Schrock.She leaves behind her loving husband, Sylvan N. Miller and special step-son, Kenneth Eugene Miller; three step-daughters and spouses, Vera Ann and Jerry Eash of Auburn, KY, Catherine and David Schrock of Linn, MO, and Joanna and Wilmer Yutzy of Huntsville, MO; three step-sons and spouses, Freeman and Maudene Miller of Bloomfield, MO, Steven and Marlene Miller of Rixeyville, VA, and Marlin and Hannah Miller of Linneus, MO; four sisters and spouses, Erma and Curtis Kauffman of Strawberry, AR, Bernice Yutzy of Sarasota, FL, Edna and David Gingerich of Linneus, MO, and Arlene and Stanley Schlabach of Monticello, KY; one brother, Milo Yutzy; sister-in-law, Martha Yutzy of Linneus, MO; brother-in-law, Lester Miller of Brookfield, MO; many nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will be Saturday, November 6, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Strawberry Mennonite Church located in Jesup with Joe Weirich, Philip Mast, Ernie Yoder and Loren Troyer officiating. Burial will be in the Locust Creek Mennonite Cemetery located at Linneus, MO. Local arrangements are by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Friday, November 5, 2010 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Strawberry Mennonite Church at Jesup.Pallbearers will be Loren Jones, Conrad Miller, Jason Gingerich, Wilmer Yutzy, Marlin Miller and Duane Schlabach.Honorary pallbearer is Daniel Miller.
