Billie Severs

Billie Severs, age 82 of Batesville died Friday, November 5, 2010 at a Batesville nursing home. She was born March 24, 1928 at Cedar Grove, Arkansas to Albert and Louella Polston James. She retired from White Rodgers in Batesville and was of the Baptist faith.She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Don James and three sisters, Mildred James, Lorene Mobley and Beulah Hubbard.Survivors include one son, Larry Britton of North Carolina, one sister, Lucille Presley of Desha and many other relatives and friends.Visitation will begin Tuesday, November 9, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel. A graveside service will follow at the Sulphur Rock Cemetery located in Sulphur Rock with Bro. J. D. Gillmore officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.Pallbearers will be Freddie Bufford, Rocky Sutton, Orville Arms and Johnny Wackerly.Honorary pallbearers are Walter Severs and John Robert Wackerly.
