Helen Jean Moore, age 79 of the Hutchinson Mountain Community died Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was born October 26, 1931 at Huff, Arkansas to William Lee and Lorena Helen (Turner) Gould. She was a retired elementary school teacher with 31 years of service having taught at Southside, Bono and Concord Schools. She was a member of the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her parents and one granddaughter, Maranda Estes Verser.Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Dale Moore of the home, two sons, Steve Moore of Hutchinson Mountain Community, Randal Moore of Evening Shade, two daughters, Marilyn Brown of Arp, Texas, Linda Sherwood of Murphy, Texas, four brothers, Arthur Gould of Tacoma, Washington, Bob Gould of Newark, Ervin Gould of Avinger, Texas and Calvin Gould of Jacksonville, Texas, one sister, Margaret Freeman of Center, Texas, ten grandchildren, Jennifer Gholson of Henderson, Texas, Brad Brown of Adairsville, Georgia, Kyle Brown of Arp, Texas, Hannah Moore of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Adam McLoy of Jonesboro, Abigail McLoy of Hollister, Missouri, Andrew McLoy of Charleston, South Carolina, Kailyn Conley of Piggott, Aaron Estes of Evening Shade and Brooke Sherwood of Austin, Texas and eight great grandchildren several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will begin Friday, November 19, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Ervin Gould, Bro. Calvin Gould and Bro. Matt Gholson officiating.
