Charles Edward Yopp, age 73 of Batesville died Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at a Batesville nursing home. He was born May 10, 1937 at Marmaduke, Arkansas.He worked for Tyson Foods as a truck driver, was an auctioneer and was a U. S. Navy Korean War veteran. He enjoyed his family and was an avid Nascar and Razorback fan.He was preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Ruth and Paul Wegert, one son Keith Cobb and two nephews, Randy Pool and Nick Yopp.Survivors include one son Scott Spicer of Batesville, one daughter, Bridgette Brooks of Batesville, two brothers, Bill Yopp of Sulphur Rock and Gary Yopp of Southside, one sister, Barbara Pool of Batesville, two grandchildren, Braiden Brooks and Katelyn Spicer both of Batesville, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Graveside services will begin Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery located north of Batesville with Bro. Allen Brown officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.No visitation is planned.Honorary pallbearer is Ricky Pool.
