Mary McElrath

Mary McElrath, 74 of Cave City died Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was born February 6, 1936 at Poughkeepsie, Arkansas to Jeff Davis and Ruthal Marie Townsley Freeman. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leonard McElrath; infant son, Leonard McElrath, Jr. and one brother, Clyde Freeman.Survivors include one son, Charles Dixon of Milton, Florida; one daughter, Barbara Porter of Cave City; one sister, Annie Hughes of Poughkeepsie; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.A memorial service will be Friday, December 10, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. ?Çô 3:30 p.m. followed by a time of food and fellowship at the Cornerstone Baptist Church located near Mt. Pleasant with Bro. Elvis Sneathern officiating. Arrangements are by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
