Olen Perkey age 90 of Cave City died Saturday December 11, 2010 at his home. He was born February 21, 1920 at Cave City, Arkansas to William Robert and Faye Lizzie Eason Perkey. He was a farmer, enjoyed showing antique vehicles and was a member of the Maxville Missionary Baptist Church in Cave City.He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, B.F. Perkey, Conyard Perkey, Glen Perkey, O.C. Perkey and Odis Perkey and four great grandchildren, Grant Smith, Sidney Bray, Colton Bray and Robby McCracken.Survivors include his wife of 69 years Syble Johnson Perkey of the home; one son, Arbra Perkey of Cave City; six daughters, Etta Ashley and Venita Jackson both of Batesville, Ola Landers, Geniave Felts, Carolyn McCracken, and Becky Sisk all of Cave City; one brother, J.W. Perkey of Cave City; one sister, Carnell Medlock of Newburn, Tennessee; nineteen grandchildren, thirty-three great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Tuesday December 14, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Maxville Missionary Baptist Church in Cave City with Boyce Johnson and Randy Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Cave City Cemetery located at Cave City with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.Visitation will be Monday December 13, 2010 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Maxville Missionary Baptist Church in Cave City.Pallbearers will be Adam Landers, Kevin Felts, Dale McCracken, Chad Johnson, Brandon Jackson and Aaron Jackson.Honorary pallbearers are Jeffery Felts, Chad Wooldridge, Bobby Hooker, Renee Edwards, Felicia Bramlett, Lisa Bray, Gina Hutchison, Denise Wooldridge, Shelley Vanwinkle, Angela Hooker, Holly Cushman, Tammy Pearce, Bobby Ray Sisk, Jamie Jackson, Doug Brinkley and Aaron Cushman.
