Geraldine Britten Turner, age 80 of Batesville died Friday, December 17, 2010 at a Cave City nursing home. She was born March 28, 1930 at Pfeiffer, Arkansas to Lee and Margaret Jane Elizabeth Crawford Britten. She was a homemaker, known for making peanut brittle and a member of the Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Conway Turner, one son, Kenneth Turner and two sisters, Alma Huddleston and Helen Gist.Survivors include two daughters, Karen Lambert of Cave City and Kathryn Coles of Olathe, Kansas, two brothers, Fred Britten of Arizona and Gary Britten of Batesville, three sisters, twin sister Allene Caldwell of Batesville, Oma Allen of California and Melba Jean Stotts of Indiana, four grandchildren, Kristy Irwin and Makayla Coles both of Olathe, Kansas, Devon Lambert of Cave City and Kurt Lambert of Jacksonville, seven great grandchildren, Atlee Lambert, Avery Lambert and Aiden Lambert all of Cave City and Jadyn Lambert of Ward, Hudson Irwin, Hadley Irwin and Harper Irwin all of Olathe, Kansas, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Monday, December 20, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. the Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church located in Cedar Grove Community with Bro. Keith Chamberlain and Bro. Carroll Kinley officiating. Burial will follow in the Cave City Cemetery. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will begin Sunday, December 19, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.Pallbearers are Frankie Caldwell, Shawn Caldwell, Perry Horn, Brian Horn, Gary Britten Jr. and Myles Britten.Honorary pallbearers will be Ervin Lambert, Coy Coles, Kurt Lambert, Aiden Lambert, Hudson Irwin and Eric Irwin.
