Beulah Othell Hoaney Qualls, age 86 of Evening Shade died Friday, December 24, 2010 at the Eaglecrest Nursing Home in Ash Flat. She was born September 2, 1924 in Ash Flat, Arkansas to Columbus Shelby 'Ben' Hoaney and Bunis Rogers Hoaney. She was a retired sales clerk, homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Herman Qualls; one brother, A. L. Hoaney; two sisters, Jean Hoaney Dilley and Fayon Hoaney Graddy and three grandchildren; Darin Qualls, Karen Qualls and Donie Bray.Survivors include three sons, Donald Qualls, Ronald Qualls and Bill Qualls all of Evening Shade; one daughter, Ladene Bray of Batesville; five grandhcildren, Brenda Harmon of Evening Shade, Rhonda Woods of Evening Shade, Ronnie Gene Qualls of Batesville, Kevin Qualls of Southside and Chris Qualls of Salem; twelve great grandchi8ldren and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the City Church of Christ located in Cave City. Ralph Wallis will be officiating and Jerry 'Chub' Qualls will give the eulogy. Burial will follow in the Evening Shade/Sharp Cemetery located Evening Shade with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.Visitation will be Tuesday, December 28, 2010 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. at the church.Pallbearers will be Brenda Harmon, Ronnie Gene Qualls, Rhonda Woods, Kevin Qualls, Chris Qualls, Taylor Woods, Colton Qualls and Josh Harmon.Honorary are L. C. Qualls, Travis Woods, Amber Qualls, Doris Qualls, great grandchildren and the staff of Eaglecrest Nursing Home.Memorials may be made to the Evening Shade/Sharp Cemetery of the charity of your choice.
