Deborah D. Palmer Gay

Deborah 'Debbie' D. Palmer Gay age 51 of Floral died Friday January 7, 2011 at a Batesville hospital. She was born November 27, 1959 at Little Rock, Arkansas to Ralph and Mary Cartwright Palmer. She was a homemaker and involved in the Floral Fire Department. She was of the Methodist faith.She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Palmer; grandparents, Galey and Rosie Cartwright and Sylvester and Gussie Palmer and one step-sister, Patricia Taylor.Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Wayne Gay of the home; her father and stepmother, Ralph and Mary Palmer of Cave City; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Sherrie and Jimmy Davis and Kelly and Bob Purvis all of Cave City; one step-sister, Debbie Cobb of Cave City; one step-brother, Michael Taylor of Cave City; three nieces, Jennifer Butler and husband Michael of Batesville, Mary Davis and Robbi McPherson both of Cushman and Patricia Purvis of Cave City; one nephew, Ralph Purvis of Cave City.Graveside services will begin Monday January 10, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cedar Grove Cemetery located at Floral with Steve Long officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.Visitation will be Sunday January 9, 2010 from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m.Pallbearers will be Ronnie Gay, Wesley Gay, Darrell Hays, Wade Gay, Rusty Gay and Brent Henderson.Honorary pallbearers are member of the Floral Fire Department.
