Wayne Turner

Olas Wayne Turner age 68 of Strawberry died Wednesday January 19, 2011 at his home . He was born April 26, 1942 at Shelbyville, Arkansas to Olas and Annie Lackey Turner. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran having served in the Vietnam Conflict, a retired construction operator and a member of the Bold Springs Missionary Baptist Church.He was preceded in death by his parents.Survivors include two brothers, Paul Turner of Jonesboro and Glenn Turner of Dixon, Missouri; two sisters, Helen Turner Gay of Jonesboro and Janie Turner Jarrett of Batesville; special friends, Wilma Rawlings and Wade Reynolds both of Cave City; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Saturday January 22, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with David Eric King officiating. Burial will follow in the Ward Cemetery located at Strawberry with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.Visitation will begin Friday January 21, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.Pallbearers will be Wade Reynolds, Billy Allen, Matthew Allen, Tim Crouch, Billy Jarrett and Adam Jarrett.
