Agnes H. Callahan, age 69 of Batesville died Monday, January 24, 2011 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was born September 29, 1941 at Salado, Arkansas to Clarence and Verble Stone Presley. She was a homemaker, a seamstress and an avid bowler. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, jug fishing, gardening, reading and putting together jigsaw puzzles. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Batesville.She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Noel Presley and nephew, Edgar Presley.Survivors include her husband of 50 plus years, William 'Bill' Callahan of the home, three sons, Jim Callahan and wife Kim of Phoenix, Arizona, Kevin Callahan and wife Patty of Batesville and William E. 'Billy' Callahan and wife Britt of Washington, D.C., daughter, Dianna Harris and fianc??, Chris Graves of Buckeye, Arizona, brother J. B. Presley and wife Mary of Southside, sister, Clarice Brickell and husband George of Batesville,two sisters-in-law, Shirley White of Beebe and Juanita Louks of Bald Knob, twelve grandchildren, Tricia Callahan, Blane Callahan, Victoria Callahan, Kellie Callahan and Emily Callahan all of Phoenix, Arizona, Elizabeth Callahan, Rebecca Callahan, Matthew Callahan and Jonathan Callahan all of Batesville, Samantha Butler of Buckeye, Arizona, Ella Callahan and Liam Callahan both of Washington, D.C., several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Memorial services will begin Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church located in Batesville with Bro.
