Jimmie Lee 'Winkle' Reding, age 76 of Batesville died Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at a Batesville hospital. She was born May 20, 1934 at Batesville, Arkansas to Wess and Effie Glenn Winkle. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pilgrim's Rest Baptist Church at Bethesda.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James V. Reding, brother, Dwain Winkle,two nephews, Johnny Winkle and Phillip Winkle and niece, Ladonna Tharp.Survivors include two brothers, Rex Winkle and Harold Winkle and two sisters, Sue Strait and Billie Jean Sprague all of Batesville, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Friday, January 28, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Pilgrim's Rest Baptist Church located at Bethesda with Bro. Chris Sims officiating. Burial will follow in the Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.Visitation will be Friday, January 28, 2011 from 12:00 p.m. until service time at the Church.Pallbearers will be Jeff Townsend, Blake Winkle, Mark Winkle, Alfred Reding, Wesley Winkle and Terry WinkleHonorary pallbearers are Dr. Doug Bernard, Staff of Rolling Hills Nursing Center and the White River Medical Center CCU employees.
