Elva Miller, age 81 of Strawberry died Friday, January 28, 2011 at her home. She was born September 28, 1929 at Dover, Delaware to Jacob and Sarah Yoder Miller. She was a homemaker and enjoyed children and quilting. She was a member of the Strawberry Mennonite Church in Jesup.She was preceded in death by her parents, her step-mother, Nancy Schrock Miller, one daughter, Elizabeth Miller and three sisters, Ida Schrock, Miriam Heatwole and Martha Miller.Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Amos 'T' Miller of the home, sons and daughters, David Miller of Stuarts Draft, Virginia, Sam Miller of Strawberry, Amos Miller Jr. of Amherst, Virginia, Simon Miller of Itasca, Texas, twin daughters, Ruth Miller and Rhoda Miller both of Strawberry and Enos Miller of Belvidere, Tennessee, brothers and sisters, Irvin Miller of Stuarts Draft, Virginia, David Miller of Newton, North Carolina, Alvin Miller of Harrisonburg, Virginia, Amanda Shrock of LaMizpa, Costa Rica, Elmer Miller of Stuarts Draft, Virginia, Alma Troyer of Newport, Maine, Rhoda Miller of Itasca, Texas, Mary Troyer of Stuarts Draft, Virginia and Joe Miller of Valley, Washington, 36 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Tuesday February 1, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Strawberry Mennonite Church in Jessup with Joe Weirich, Lloyd Troyer, Loren Troyer, Eli Hostettler and Elmer Schrock officiating. Burial will follow in the Jesup Cemetery located at Jesup with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.Visitation will begin Monday January 31, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Strawberry Mennonite Church in Jesup.Pallbearers are grandsons, Tim Miller, Duane Miller, Glen Miller, Lowell Miller, Luke Miller and Lawrence Miller.
