Edith Faye Robertson age 86 of Batesville died Tuesday February 1, 2011 at the Wood Lawn Nursing Home in Batesville. She was born September 28, 1924 at Cushman, Arkansas to Charles H. and Jessie Hon Burrow. She was a retired beautician, an accomplished pianist and a member of the New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church at Bethesda.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bernard Robertson and one sister, Thelma Lorene Burrow.Survivors include two daughters, Peggy J. Smith of Batesville and Phylis J. Bratton of Hot Springs; one brother, Millan Burrow of Beebe; one sister, Wilma Meyers of Grass Valley, California; four grandchildren, Janie Starnes, Jeannie Sade and Chris Rhodes all of Batesville and Tom Rhodes of Barnwell, South Carolina; nine great grandchildren, Phillip Halfacre and Seth Sade both of Fayetteville, Sam Halfacre, Andy Rhodes, Kelly Rhodes and Johnathan Starnes all of Batesville, Michael Starnes of Pleasant Plains, Jamie Rhodes and Heather Rhodes both of Barnwell, South Carolina; four great great grandchildren, Joslyn Hanna of Fayetteville and William Starnes, Andrew Starnes and Jacob Starnes all of Batesville; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Friday February 4, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Father John Drymon officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery located near Cushman with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.Visitation will begin Thursday February 3, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.Pallbearers will be Phillip Halfacre, Sam Halfacre, Seth Sade, Tom Rhodes and Chris Rhodes.Honorary pallbearers are Chad Sade, Mark Starnes, Gary Bratton, Johnny Smith and the Caregivers at Wood Lawn Nursing Home.
