Ellen Virginia Holder Thompson

Ellen Virginia Holder Thompson, age 71 of Pleasant Plains died Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at the White County Medical Center in Searcy. She was born July 15, 1939 at Bay, Arkansas to Archie Alvin and Mary Alice Deadmon Lile. She was a homemaker and a member of the Faith Missionary Baptist Church at Des Arc.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Daniel Maxwell Holder, one son Daniel Dwayne Holder, one daughter, Cathy Holder Ellingwood, one brother Olen Lile, four sisters, Evelyn Payton, Bertha Hackerly, Geneve Lile and twin sister Susie Helen Womack one niece Wilma Jean Payton.Survivors include two sons, Donnie Holder of Pleasant Plains and Charles Holder of Des Arc, one daughter, Susie Thompson of Des Arc, seven grandchildren, Dustin Holder of Concord, Kelly Holder and Shelly Holder both of Batesville, Mandy Holder of Beebe, David Holder of Pleasant Plains, Natasha Jackson of Panama City, Florida and Nicole Jackson of Des Arc, nine great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Graveside services will begin Friday, February 18, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the McMullin Cemetery located at Pleasant Plains with Bro. Jim West officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.Visitation will begin Thursday, February 17, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.Honorary pallbearers are Dustin Holder, David Holder, Charles Holder, Donnie Holder and David Hagler.
