Merritt Rodgers

Merritt E. Rodgers age 86 of Cave City died Friday February 25, 2011 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. He was born February 27, 1924 at Cave City, Arkansas to J. Wesley and Eva Peebles Rodgers. He was a former member of the Fairview Cemetery Board and of the Methodist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Emerson Rodgers and Don Rodgers; two sisters, Clara Rodgers and Fern Rodgers; one nephew and one niece.Survivors include a host of friends.Funeral services will begin Saturday February 26, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Rev. Roger Hook officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery located east of Cave City with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.Visitation will be Saturday February 26, 2011 from 12:00 noon until service time.
