Barbara Taylor Liles age 75 of Batesville died Friday March 4, 2011 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was born August 28, 1935 at Minneapolis, Minnesota to Nicholas and Bonnie Stemig. She was a retired restaurant chef and a member of the New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church at Charlotte.She was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband, Randolph Taylor.Survivors include her husband, Cliff Liles of the home; two sons, Greg Liles of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Ron Taylor of Cave City; four daughters, Cheryl Sherrill of Charlotte, Wanda Sue Yates of Newark, Selena Wilson of Southside and Kelly Keisner of Russellville; one brother, Jim Stemig of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; one sister, Janice Martinez of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; six grandchildren, Misty Dockins, Robin Lopez, Corrina Myer, Chris Dorris and Hope Sherrill all of Cave City and Karry Dorris; thirteen great grandchildren several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Wednesday March 9, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church (also known as 104 School) located at Charlotte with Bro. Jim Platt officiating. Burial will follow in the Shamrock Cemetery located at Charlotte with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.Visitation will begin Tuesday March 8, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.Pallbearers will be Chad Dockins, Robert Vaughn, Chris Dorris, Jimmy Sherrill, Jesse Dorris and Buddy Justice.Honorary pallbearers are Terry Justice and Karry Dorris.
