Hylas H. Piearson

Hylas H. Piearson, age 98 of Heber Springs, formerly of Floral died Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at Heber Springs. He was born September 22, 1912 at Floral, Arkansas to Robert and Idonia Piearson. He was a U. S. Army World War II veteran, retired factory worker and farmer. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Heber Springs.He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Robie Piearson, seven sisters, Eva Thompson, Hazel Pearson, Ova Webb, Eppie Ferguson, Pearl Ferguson, Ora Ferguson and Cora Nicholson.Survivors include a host of nieces and nephews and many other friends.Funeral services will begin Friday, March 11, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Kevin Clifton officiating. Burial will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery located at Floral with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.Visitation will be Friday, March 11, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel.Pallbearers will be Waymon Nicholson, Curtis Nicholson, Kent Brown, Brent Brown, Daryl Brown and Chad Evans.
