Jerry D. Stobaugh, age 68 of Batesville died Friday, March 11, 2011 at the St. John's Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. He was born June 23, 1942 in Bragg City, Missouri to Lindell and Betty Jewel Oliger Stobaugh. He worked in heavy construction and enjoyed gardening, landscaping, hunting, fishing, building houses and helping people. He attended Fellowship Bible Church in Batesville.He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Patsy Landers.Survivors include his wife, Jennie Lee Stobaugh of the home, three sons, David Wayne Stobaugh, Jeffery Lynn Stobaugh and Michael John Stobaugh all of Batesville, two brothers, Bob Stobaugh and Danny Joe Stobaugh both of Batesville, three sisters, Emma Sue Chambers of Linden, Michigan, Mary Alice Fortner of Parma, Missouri and Shirley Kay Kennedy of Holiday, Florida, seven grandchildren, Holly Dixon and Darci Stobaugh of Manila, Jeremy Stobaugh of Blytheville, Blake Stobaugh of Batesville, Morgan Stobaugh of Glenville, Georgia, David Wagster and Lauren Wagster both of Batesville, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Memorial services will begin Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Fellowship Bible Church in Batesville with Pastor John Mark Rutter officiating.Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.No visitation is planned.Memorials may be made to Network of Community Options, Inc., 710 South St. Louis St., Batesville, AR 72501.
