Ruby Jean George, age 87 of Cave City died Thursday, March 17, 2011 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was born April 16, 1923 at Pleasant Plains, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and a member of the Cave City Church of Christ for many years.She was preceded in death by her father William Grady and mother Eunice Gosnell, her husband Jewel George, one brother Billy Grady, two sisters Peggy Rogers and Virginia Kunkel, three sons Kenneth Wayne Marlin, Johnnie Dale Marlin and Gary Douglas Marlin.Survivors include one daughter, Brenda Marlin Krizon of Colorado Springs, Colorado, one son Larry L. Marlin of Tampa, Florida, two sisters, Hester Hinson and Mary Stone both of Kokomo, Indiana, 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and a many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will begin Monday, March 21, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cave City Church of Christ with Dean Fugett officiating. Burial will follow in the Maxville Cemetery located north of Cave City with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.No visitation is planned.Pallbearers will be Christian Marlin, Josh Marlin, Shane Marlin, Nathan Marlin, Natalie Marlin and Gavin Franke. Honorary pallbearers are Joe Krizon and Larry Weaver.
