Norris Dee Sandridge, age 54 of Cave City died Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at his home. He was born November 2, 1956 at Batesville, Arkansas to Dow and Naomo Sandridge. He retired from truck driving, enjoyed fishing, going to the coffee shop and watching his grandchildren play. He was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church in Cave City.He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, George and Ida Sandridge and Jasper and Mary Norris and step-daughter, Tammie Turner.Survivors include his wife Holly Sandridge of the home, daughter, Cassie McSpadden of Cave City, son, Mark Sandridge of Jonesboro, step-son, Sam Turner of Nashville, Tennessee, six grandchildren, Tristian McSpadden and Cheyenne McSpadden both of Cave City, Clayton Sandridge of Bee Branch, Lillian Sandridge of Charlotte and Sammy Joe Sandridge and Keelie Sandridge of Oil Trough and many other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Friday, March 25, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at the First Missionary Baptist Church in Cave City with Bro. Ron Canard and Bro. Bobby Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in the Cave City Cemetery located in Cave City with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.Visitation will be Thursday, March 24, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the First Missionary Baptist Church.Pallbearers will be Jackie Coles, Mitchell Walling, Bobby Wilkes, Jerry Tubbs, Russell Fowler and Keith Mize.Honorary pallbearers are George Carter, Tony Herndon, Grover Nelson and Rick Crook.
