Walter 'W. O.' McLeod, age 76 of Cave City died Saturday, March 26, 2011 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. He was born May 20, 1934 at Cave City, Arkansas to Oris and Winnie McLeod. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, a retired city bus driver and a member of the Mount View Baptist Church.He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Paul D. McLeod, grandson, Rickey Rudd and great grandson, Hunter Rudd.Survivors include his wife, Eunice McLeod of the home, two sons, Walter D. McLeod of Jacksonville, Florida and James R. McLeod of Maumelle, two step-sons, Dale King and Dean King both of Cave City, two daughters, Tammie Rudd of North Little Rock, and Betty Potts of Kennett, Missouri and one step-daughter, Gail McCrackin of Louisiana, four sisters, Juanita Crousi of Sherwood, Darlene Money of Cicero, Indiana Veda Rogers of Statesville, North Carolina and Glenna Ivie of Ogden, Utah, nine grandchildren, sixteen step-grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, twenty-three step great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. at the Mount View Baptist Church located east of Cave City with Sidney McLeod, Vance Penn and James McLeod officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave city.Visitation will begin Tuesday, March 29, 2011 from 1:30 p.m. until service time at the Mount View Baptist Church.No graveside services.Honorary pallbearers will be his grandsons.
