Nina Hoggard Garrison Ellis

Nina Hoggard Garrison Ellis, age 78 of Batesville died Monday, April 4, 2011 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was born December 28, 1932 at Cave City, Arkansas to Orville Hoggard and Zana McLeod Hoggard. She was retired, enjoyed her grandchildren, great grandchildren and fishing. She was a member of the Word of Life Church in Batesville.She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Leon Hoggard, sister, Genice Counce and grandson, Josh Garrison.Survivors include son, Terry Garrison and daughter, Tina Garrison both of Batesville, three brothers, J. O. Hoggard of Rogers, L. D. Hoggard and Billy Hoggard both of Cave City, two grandchildren, Jeremy Harmon and wife Jessica of Lonoke and Amy Harrison of Batesville, six great grandchildren, Ashley Harmon and Austin Harmon both of North Little Rock, Keagan Harrison, Meghan Harrison, Emily Harrison and Grady Harrison all of Sulphur Rock, several nieces and nephews, many cousins and other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with Bob Francis officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery located east of Cave City with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.Visitation will be Tuesday, April 5, 2011 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.Pallbearers will be Ricky Dale, Jeremy Harmon, Austin Harmon, Jerry Don Smart, Keagan Harrison and Jessie Burns.Honorary pallbearer is J. O. Hoggard.
