Alma Billingsley

Alma Billingsley, age 94 of Cave City quietly departed surrounded by loved ones on Monday morning April 4, 2011 at the Cave City Nursing Home. Alma was born April 15, 1916 at Sidney, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Homer and Sarah Johnson and one of nine daughters and one son. She was a retired seamstress and homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Cave City.Survivors include a son, Tom Billingsley and his wife Lynn, two granddaughters, Julie Sandy and her husband Tommy, Lisa Reschke and her husband Rob, two great granddaughters, Claire Sandy and Jennifer Grissom, a sister Verna Stallcup and many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her loving husband of many years, Remmel Billingsley, a daughter, Virginia Billingsley, her parents, seven sisters and one brother.Graveside services will be Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Maxville Cemetery located north of Cave City with Rev. Roger Hook officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.Visitation will begin Tuesday, April 5, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
