Freddie K. Crouch, age 69 of Cave City died Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. He was born February 28, 1942 at Shelbyville, Arkansas to A. E. and Elmer Milligan Crouch. He was a retired iron worker and a member of the Masonic Curia Lodge 144 at Cave City. He enjoyed his family, coon hunting and blue grass music. He was a member of the Campground Presbyterian Church at Strawberry.He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Jack Crouch and Ted Crouch, sister Mary Rembowski and infant sister Shirley Crouch.Survivors include his wife of forty-nine years Joan Crouch of the home, three sons, Tim Crouch of Strawberry, Mark Crouch of Cave City and Dennis Crouch of Nashville, brother, R. W. Crouch of St. Louis, sister Connie Doyle of Rock Island, Illinois, five grandchildren, Laura Crouch of Batesville, Charlotte Engleman of Strawberry, Holley Kruger and Emily Crouch both of Nashville and Dustin Crouch of Cave City, two great grandchildren, Ella Davis of Batesville and Tenley Engleman of Strawberry and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will begin Friday, April 8, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Bobby Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in the Cave City Cemetery with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.Visitation will begin Thursday, April 7, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.Pallbearers will be Bob Brown, Donald Hastings, Herb Miller, Gilbert McCracken, Brad Howard and Doug Crouch.Honorary pallbearers are the members of the Curia Creek Lodge 144.
