Elesibeth Chinn Story, age 88 of Batesville died Sunday, April 3, 2011 at a Batesville nursing home. She was born January 29, 1923 at Cave Creek, Arkansas to William Arthur and Mabel Swearingen Chinn. She was a homemaker, retired from Arkansas College, (now Lyon College), a member of Eastern Star and a member of the Cave Creek United Methodist Church.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Thurman Odell Story and one sister, Wilma Chinn Caster.Survivors include four daughters, Sharon Miller of Rosie, Joy Simmons of Henderson, Tennessee, Dennie Baker of Batesville and Debbie Dixon of Westfield, New Jersey, three grandchildren, Kirk Miller of Salado, Valarie Martin of Rosie and Cason Simmons of Warner Robbins, Georgia, three great grandchildren, Terrilynn Miller of Salado, Clara Elesibeth Martin and Chloe Jo Martin both of Rosie, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral Services will begin Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Central Avenue United Methodist Church in Batesville with Rev. Paul Seay, Rev. Lavon Post and Roy E. Thomas officiating.
