Syble Marie Johnson Perkey age 88 of Cave City died Saturday April 16, 2011 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was born November 3, 1922 at Poughkeepsie, Arkansas to Arbra Dallas and Missie Louetta Jones Johnson. She was a wonderful mother that loved her family. She enjoyed sewing and flowers. She was retired from Banquet Foods in Batesville and was a member of the Maxville Missonary Baptist Church in Cave City.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Olen Perkey; four great grandchildren, Grant Smith, Sidney Bray, Colton Bray and Robby McCracken and son-in-law, Jimmy Jackson.Survivors include one son, Arbra Perkey of Cave City; six daughters, Etta Ashley, Ola Landers, Geniave Felts, Carolyn McCracken and Becky Sisk all of Cave City and Venita Jackson of Batesville; three half-sisters, Agnes Beckum of Lynn, Fanny Deaton of Batesville and Peggy Sandy of Little Rock; nineteen grandchildren, thirty-three great grandchildren, one great great grandchild; several nieces and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Tuesday April 19, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Maxville Missionary Baptist Church in Cave City with Bro. Boyce Johnson and Randy Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Cave City Cemetery with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.Visitation will begin Monday April 18, 2011 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Maxville Missionary Baptist Church in Cave City.Pallbearers will be Adam Landers, Kevin Felts, Chad Johnson, Brandon Jackson, Doug Brinkley, Aaron Cushman and Chad Wooldridge.Honorary pallbearers are All her grandchildren and their spouses, her sons-in law, her daughter-in-law, Dr. Andy Davidson, Marcia Prewitt and Dana Hicks.
