Gilbert A. Northcutt

Gilbert A. Northcutt, age 87 of Strawberry died Sunday, April 17, 2011 at his home. He was born July 14, 1923 at Dowdy, Arkansas to Marion and Lillian Long Northcutt. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Mt. Harmony Free Will Baptist Church at Saffell.He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Devone Northcutt, brother, W. J. Northcutt and grandson, Marty Northcutt.Survivors include two sons, Robert Northcutt and Randall Northcutt both of Strawberry, sister, Billie Clyburn of Wichita, Kansas, three grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mount Harmony Free Will Baptist Church located at Saffell with Bro. Stanley Vandergrift officiating. Burial will follow in the Union Cemetery located near Dowdy with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until service time at the church.Pallbearers will be Carrell Huskey, Junior Huskey, Ricky Huskey, Brent Northcutt, Jerry Gilliam and David Doyle.Honorary pallbearers are Jerry Ray Huskey, Garland Gillmore and Butch Meisner.
