Morris Miller

Morris Dale Miller age 57 of Batesville departed this life Thursday April 21, 2011 in Batesville, Arkansas. Morris was born February 4, 1954 in Batesville, Arkansas to Oras Miller and Ola Mae Gammill Miller. He was owner and operator of Miller Welding in Melbourne and enjoyed riding motorcycles to benefit kids. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, E.L. and Beulah Mae Chaudion Miller and J.V. and Martha Jane Hinson Gammill.Survivors include his parents of Cave City; his wife Debbie Browning Miller; one daughter, Lorrie Miller Smith and husband Rohm of Rogers; two grandsons, William Lon Smith and Matthew Miller Smith of Rogers; one brother, Steven D. Miller of Evening Shade and one sister Margaret Miller Perkey of Cave City and host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Monday April 25, 2011 at 2:00 pm. at the First Missionary Baptist Church in Cave City with Bro. Ron Canard, Daniel McCord, David Croft and Robby Wright officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Carmel Cemetery located at Sidney with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.Visitation will be Sunday April 24, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home in Cave City.Pallbearers will be Don Smith, Robby Wright, David Croft, Daniel McCord, Bobby Hooker and Jim Burrow.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or the charity of your choice.
