Nellie Ann Kimbrough

Nellie Ann Kimbrough, age 98 of Batesville died Sunday, April 24, 2011 at her home. She was born February 9, 1913 at Florence, Alabama to James and Helen Jones Marlar. She was a homemaker, enjoyed gospel music, crocheting and gardening. She was of the Church of God faith.She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Syron Kimbrough , daughters, Marie Sibley and Christene Fleetwood, four brothers and four sisters.Survivors include daughter, Joyce Fields of Batesville, brother, Mancil Marlar of Cabot, eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and twenty-six great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Gaylon England officiating. Burial will follow in the Kyler Cemetery located in Southside with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.Visitation will be Tuesday, April 26, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.Pallbearers will be Heath Spooner, James Mansfield, Justin Mansfield, Jonathon Qualls, Donald Hollingsworth and Christopher Williams.Honorary pallbearers Ronald Hollingsworth and Billy Webb.
